Reflection

Alright! My bad.. Take 2! Many late nights, extra takes, problem solving and miles of footage we're done! What an amazing job! :O We need a 3 way secret agent group handshake......

Why did you choose the concepts you did to create your problem set?

We chose/made our questions according to what would work and help our story line (which was tough) and then jazzed them up and created questions involving more than unit. We used the units that were more challenging to us to create the questions so we could better our understanding of those units. With the exam coming up and this taking up much of our study time, this was the one way I could study because of late nights of editing. We also wanted to make sure we had a variety of material that touched upon all the units we've covered to fully cover and prepare ourselves for the exam and give the audience a good taste of what we learned.

How do these problems provide an overview of your best mathematical understanding of what you have learned so far?

It was a good review and team effort and prooves what hard work can do. Not only does this project show we know how to solve but we know what goes into a problem and how to create them ourselves. Teaching something is the best way to show you know something and this project was a great way to do this as it pitted all of our knowledge to come up with and solve the problems. We used the problems we were struggling the most on and used those units to teach ourselves and re-inforce what we know.

Did you learn anything from this assignment? Was it educationally valuable to you? (Be honest with this. If you got nothing out of this assignment then say that, but be specific about what you didn't like and offer a suggestion to improve it in the future.)

Overall, this project has been very fun to make and it's been quite an honour to work with PJ and Mary on this! This project has really helped me a lot not only as a huge refresher to everything we've learned so far but has shown me a lot of how many things are related to eachother and can work together. Although it was very time consuming (and youtube was VERY frustrating at times) it was fun and very helpful. I feel confident going into the exam now that I see what goes into math problems and how even the most complicated looking things can end up being very simple. I think that this project has helped me most in remebering and re-learning the trig identites and logs.

I thank you PJ and Mary, you two have taught me so much math in this past week! It's been fun and I look forward to next years DEV and making a sequel perhaps, or is that giving away to much? :O (Are we still going to make a DEV next year?!?!?!?!........ :(

Dion, your reflection is incomplete. Please complete similarly to your group mates.
